Tom Brown is currently HR Operations Leader for eBay. He then took his MBA which led to him working in Strategic Planning with both Disney in Burbank as well as with Omega Partners with long term projects in China, Russia, Middle-East and US.
He finally entered in-house HR with Dell where he spent almost six years before, after a short spell heading up Global Recruitment with Vodafone, he joined Juniper Networks. Initially he was based in Europe running HR for EMEA before transferring to Sunnyvale as VP HR Corporate Functions running Recruitment, L&D, Operations, C&B and Internal Communications. He then moved on to head up the Americas region for Juniper before leaving and joining eBay.
Tom is passionate about the need for HR to stop worrying about whether it has a seat at the table and start focusing on innovative thinking that will drive higher employee engagement, deliver amazing business results and ensure HR is always a central focus for the organization.
